Baddha Konasana is a pose that opens up the hips by stretching the adductor muscles as well as the sacral muscles. It stretches the inner thighs, groin and the knees. A consistent practices helps develop a good posture as it works on the spine when done with proper support as a beginner of yoga. It stimulates heart functions and blood circulations. Children love it as it is also their very well loved butterfly pose. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, you can do this pose as there are modifications for this pose at all levels of yoga in all Wellness Haven Yoga Classes.
