  • Stress-Free Life

    Stress-Free Life

    Stress-Free Life

Make your life joyful – one baby step at a time.

The key to a simple and joyful life is hidden within us and yet we are often left confused.
In the day to day running around we forget why we started running around in the first place – to achieve a life that is peaceful and happy.

Sooner or later tiredness sets in. Stress is in both the mind and the body. Life feels heavy and trapped. It is only in this state of heaviness that we either become depressed or we start searching for answers.

To find the answer to a stress-free, peaceful and joyful life, ask yourself these basic questions:

    • Do I take some time out just for me on a regular basis?
    • Do I keep myself mentally, emotionally and spiritually nurtured?
    • Do I take care of my body  – the temple where our Soul dwells?
    • Do I exercise my limbs daily so that I stay strong, flexible and balanced?
    • Do I eat nutritious food so that my body gets the nourishment it deserves?

The very first step towards a balanced life is “AWARENESS”.

Many years ago, when I became aware how imbalanced my own life was, I determined that I would create a more balanced life for myself, one step at a time:

    • The very first step was to open myself up for mentoring by someone who could help me change my perspectives, who could help me see life from a very positive angle and who could guide me to a better life by teaching me tools that I had no clue about.
    • I started reading self-help books and words from authors who were highly motivating, inspiring and encouraging and in conjunction with the support I was receiving from my coach, I was able to apply what I learned into my life.
    • I also enrolled myself in a life awareness class where I learned and refreshed myself in some basic life philosophies that had accumulated dust over the years.
    • I enrolled myself in basic Breathing and Meditation Classes, which taught me life techniques that proved critical to my well-being.
    • I started exercising on a daily basis.
    • I got initiated into a yoga asana class and realized that it was my gift, and trained as a teacher, incorporating this mind-body practice into my daily life.
    • I felt the need for nutritional education and devoted myself to learning all about how to nourish myself.
    • I learned very important money concepts that would not have been possible without the support of my coach.
    • I learned how to free myself of a corporate career.

All the above happened over the course of a few years. I had the needed support so I was not in a hurry and especially because the learning process was so joyful. How the years passed I was not even aware for I was devoted to learning and growing.I still am.

And now it has become a mission to educate others what I have learned over the years.

As the mind becomes clear of what one needs, it is able to achieve it. Freeing ourselves of self-implied barriers leads the path to peace, health and happiness.

Take the first step, for you are worth it. ~ Umang Goel

  • Solitude Is Self Love

    Solitude Is Self Love

    Solitude Is Self Love

Only when you learn to love yourself do you love your solitude.

There is a difference between loneliness and solitude.

Solitude allows you to reflect and understand yourself, which is one of the most difficult things to do for those who find their pleasure only when they are with someone.  Such people become restless unless they are in a constant state of connection with the outside world and doing something or the other.  Such people face loneliness.

Loneliness is failed solitude.” ~ Sherry Turkle

On the other hand solitude is a choice. You prefer your own company for it gives you the peace, the comfort, the relaxation, and complete rest that is only possible when you are by yourself and away from the daily drama of life. This solitude becomes blissful when the mind is also at complete rest, that is you are in a meditative state with your eyes closed and none of your body parts are moving. This is a time which leads you to creativity and productivity and achieves your very best.

“When you learn to love your own company you become far more careful who you spend your time with.”  ~ Katrina Mayer

We live in a society where many do not understand the criticality of solitude. The daily issues that people are faced with would take on a completely different meaning and people would be able to stay away from anxiety and depression if they were to practice the art of self-discovery  through solitude.

We all need to learn how to love our own company, become our own beloved and choose wisely who we are with at other times. When this self-love prospers, we do not use the external world as a means of escape.

A person complete on the inside loves solitude.

A person who is unable to live with the self is lonely, for such a person considers it an imprisonment, a punishment, and struggles with living on a daily basis.

Solitude does not mean you let go of society.

Solitude  means that you embrace society with acceptance and deep love for the self, enabling a richer and more empowered society.

Going from loneliness to being complete is the process of self-discovery, which comes only with proper guidance, time and patience. The practice of Meditation, Controlled Breathing/Pranayama, Yoga enable this process of self-discovery. The result is invaluable. ~ Umang Goel

  • Life’s Challenges

    Life’s Challenges

Life’s Challenges are the perfect opportunities for Self- Growth

You may have often found yourself facing Life’s Challenges. You may have even said to yourself, “Why me?”  You may have wondered when this challenge will go away. You may have faced anxiety or worse depression as a result…

Life’s challenges have a way of disrupting our lives; coming at times we ‘think’ we need them the least, costing us our valuable time and resources that we could have used elsewhere! Yes it becomes an inconvenience we do not “need” as we stay focused on everything else but this inconvenience! We are irritated and frustrated for we did not ‘plan’ for this challenge!

I do not know of anyone who has not faced of any life challenge!

I also know that most do get very anxious.

I was there once too – a life challenge would get me wringing my hands, in panic and overwhelmed not knowing what to do.

So how do we overcome this feeling of overwhelm?

The answer is very simple and yet profound – by understanding the real meaning of a Life Challenge; changing our perspective on how we look at life, changing our attitude towards life!

What is the real meaning of a Life Challenge?

    • A life challenge is a blessing in disguise.
    • It comes into our life to teach us critical lessons which might not have learned otherwise.
    • It forces us look deeper into our beings for we live in a very external world most of the time.
    • It is an opportunity for growth.
    • It makes us challenge and expand our own self-inflicted boundaries and limits.
    • It makes us strong as we learn how to take action and resolve the challenge to come back into balance, by forcing us to tap into our unknown potentials.
    • It makes us look for solutions we did not think were possible.

“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” ~ John Kabat-Zin

We are all limitless in our capabilities. We all have the ability to ride the high tide and come back onto solid ground.

    • Accept the challenge for what it is.
    • Ride the wave as you face feelings and emotions that make you look deeper into yourself, take the necessary action steps as you learn how to resolve the   challenge.
    • Come out of the challenge stronger than ever before!

Let’s not take this beautiful life for granted.  Know that a Life Challenge is there to keep you on your toes as you stay rooted in your faith and belief that ALL IS WELL. ~ Umang Goel

  • Belief, Sub-Conscious Mind & Desired Outcome

Belief, Sub-Conscious Mind & Desired Outcome

Belief, Sub-Conscious Mind & Desired Outcome

    People often think like this:

I understand the life philosophy and I am acting on it and yet it is not producing results I desire! I am not able to attract my desired outcome!

Here is how it actually works:

Your actions are in complete alignment with your subconscious mind and the results are in complete alignment with your actions. So irrespective of what you may think that you are planning and doing, if there is any mis-alignment between your subconscious mind and your current thoughts and words, the actions will speak the loudest for it will continuously align itself with what your true perceptions are, based on what resides in your subconscious mind.

    What should we do?

Consciously look at your life and what is happening in the current state. If you do not like how your life is in its current state, look at how you really feel about things in your life, your thoughts and words, your actions; look at what you truly believe about those things. Your belief may be completely misaligned with what you are trying very hard to do!

    For example:

An overweight person may say that they want to come to their optimal weight, and they start a program as well! But very soon they sabotage themselves and fail to get the desired outcome! Why?

Because in their subconscious mind they have already failed! They don’t really believe that they can achieve what they have set out for. They do not have faith in their actions in spite of the conscious mind guiding them to start acting on their plan!

You have to have complete faith, an absolute conviction in the system you are working with, the projects, the plans, the actions, what you desire, and only then each of these aspects will be in alignment and result in the desired outcome.

People miss the desired outcome for they have failed to align their beliefs, thoughts, actions, words, and goals/dreams.

Your sub-conscious mind is the doorway to infinite intelligence.

We all have the potential, but we need proper guidance so that we can correctly ‘see’ what is not in alignment and what can be done and then have continuous guidance towards complete alignment and the desired life outcome.  ~ Umang Goel

  • Finding Balance

    Finding Balance

A well balanced life is the secret to joy and happiness.

There are a few areas of life that we all need to be aware of to create that fine balance we all need in our lives:

    • Mental – This is a very important ingredient in the recipe for a joyful life. If the ‘head’ is together and finds its connection with  the heart, every other aspect of life flows beautifully, irrespective of what unfolds in front of us.
    • Emotional – Emotional well-being comes from understanding the basic life principles; emotional strengthening helps us create a life that is progressive and not stuck.
    • Spiritual – Spiritual growth helps us understand and accept life peacefully and joyfully.  It brings faith in your Higher Self enabling life to unfold without the tight controlling grip. Prayer and Gratitude are key ingredients.
    • Physical – Physical health enables us take full advantage of the opportunities life presents us with. Flexibility, strength, balance and stamina as well as the right nutrients not only helps our body to be healthy but also helps our minds to become flexible, strong and balanced, allowing us to be joyfully independent and self sufficient.
    • Financial – When mind is working at its optimal best and the body is fluid, balance comes in the financial part of our lives as well for we are able to work with our passions and empowered to achieve the life of our dreams.
    • Relationships – With a healthy mind, a healthy body and a secure financial future, relationships are also at their very best.

Balancing life is a juggling act. Very few of us are completely balanced in every aspect of our lives. But awareness at all times allows us to take a deeper look at our life and evaluate every so often which parts of our life need a tune-up.

Many may even be aware of which part of life is in chaos, but may not be mentally, or emotionally ready to act on it, leading to continued imbalance and chaos. This is where expert coaching becomes a necessity.

Life is as simple as you want it to be but it can only be achieved by bringing awareness leading into action and ultimately into balance.

It is the law of nature to be in balance. What falls out of balance has to come back in balance. How difficult the coming back to balance will be resides in our hands.

    We all are aware that:
PREVENTION IS MANY TIMES BETTER THAN CURE – Why get into a broken state with scars before attempting balance? Why not take all necessary actions to prevent going out of balance?

PREVENTION IS ALSO LESS EXPENSIVE THAN CURE – Why get into forced spending that is externally controlled after we are broken and when there is no other choice?

You cannot be happy if you are not balanced.

Here is a fine balanced recipe for a healthy, happy, joyful and balanced  life:

    1. Make a habit of  Joyful Mental practices EVERYDAY to keep the mind strong.

    2. Practice Breathing/Pranayama and Meditation EVERYDAY to stay in a relaxed and calm state of mind so that beauty can unfold naturally.

    3. Practice Therapeutic Yoga Asanas EVERYDAY to keep both your mental and physical body flexible, strong, and balanced.

    4. Put the Right Nutrients in your body EVERYDAY to keep both your mental and physical body functioning at its optimal best.

    5. Indulge in Spiritual practices like prayer and gratitude EVERYDAY to bring your mind and heart in sync and to keep your spirits soaring high.

Evaluate yourself regularly so that you can keep bringing yourself into that fine balance that keep the elusive happiness very much a part of your daily life.

  • Self Empowerment

    Self Empowerment

Self Empowerment is critical to a happy, confident and self sufficient human being.

Many of us feel lost, and are left struggling in so many ways keeping us from living our life’s potential. Each one of us has it within us to achieve the dreams and desires that are coming from our heart space. But we are humans and human world is based on relationships. In order for us to have the best human relationships we have to learn the tools to have the best relationship with the Self first. And this is where a Mentor comes in the picture – the mentor of the best kind, who not only has your best interest, but who has the skills and the tools to support your growth process. It is imperative that each one of us who has this intense desire to grow, to find this person whose philosophies and teaching style you agree with, who you will listen to and who will be subtly aggressive in their coaching so that you can actually see the results you desire. The student-teacher relationship is very important, and so it is even more important to find the right teacher. It is also very important for the teacher to find the right student. When there is an authentic meeting of the minds, the outcome is SUCCESS.

Yesterday, I could not have said it better as was said by one of my Private Annual Life Coaching Students:

“Aren’t we naive and ignorant to know if we are perceiving things in the right direction before we knew the POWER of EMPOWERMENT!
How my Journey of Freedom began?
I reached out for help. July 4th, 2013 was my first session.
    How it helped me?

    • Made me believe in myself every time
    • Changed my mind set by making me realize how important it is the way you perceive things and you always have to keep moving
    • Made me aware of how my thoughts, perceptions, belief system attracted people, situations in my life
    • Provided logical answers, a different way of looking to all my questions
    •  Made me aware of the cosmos laws and how the universe works
    • Journey continues in getting empowered, building a self-centered and unshakable being
    • I am very grateful to have find a Mentor, who has created this awareness in me and has a burning desire (of the same level) to see me where I wish to see myself in LIFE!!”

  • Antidote To Fear Is Action

    Antidote To Fear Is Action

    Antidote To Fear Is Action

You will never know what you will miss out on unless you give it your very best shot!

Thoughts come to mind to do this or that, but these thoughts are never realized for lack of action on the thought, simply because the fear of the unknown takes over. The mind thinks up of innumerable barriers to prevent the thought from being realized. The result is that the mind has failed even before taking the first action step!

Can you imagine not having electricity that improves our lives from moment to moment?

Can you imagine there being no airplane to take us to far lands to be with our loved ones?

Can you imagine there being no internet that gives us virtual meeting grounds?

None of the above would have been realized if after the very first thought of the concept, action steps had not been taken!

Instead of fearing failure, let fear propel you into action; let’s embrace uncertainty with faith that even if the path to the thought (goal) being realized may be very curvy, the destination will be realized!

With faith, patience, courage, action and an indomitable spirit, anything is possible! ~ Umang Goel

  • Manifest Your Dreams

    Manifest Your Dreams

    Manifest Your Dreams

Many of us dare to dream, but how many of us dive into action with faith and empowerment of turning the dream into reality? We all want to, but many feel it is not possible! I am here to tell you that it is all possible: with intention, devotion, faith, gratitude and action. But there is a very important piece to this puzzle of manifestation – ACCOUNTABILITY! Yes someone to hold you accountable to your powerful intention. The missing ingredient in the recipe for manifesting your dreams: A hand to hold you accountable; a partner in your dreams; someone who wants it as much as you want to achieve your dreams; someone who will devote a dedicated time slot to you and your dreams; someone who does not quit on your dreams even if you lose patience; someone who believes in you; someone who has no qualms in telling you exactly how it is – Yes, that is what a true, authentic MENTOR is, who is not emotionally attached to you! life is precious. Moments of your life are precious. Do not waste time. Go for your dreams. Find yourself a powerful authentic mentor who believes in you and your dreams and who will hold you accountable. Your dreams are waiting to unfold. What are you waiting for? ~ Umang Goel We would love to read your comments below.
