I have never attended a Retreat before and just started my yoga exercise journey approximately 12 months ago, very serious and dedicated for the past 8-9 months. I have seen my body transform to a leaner, stronger and toned version with generally healthy eating. I also experienced a calmer mind. as a connection to my body.
I first hesitated to join Umang’s Rereat but decided I needed some help to sort through some emotional and frustrating life challenges. After our first day of Retreat, , I felt so uplifted and relieved after meditating and learning ho to journal as writing down all of my life concerns, dreams and actions. After speaking with my daughter the first day, she could tell that I was so much calmer and content.
I made some wonderful new friends that opened their hearts and souls to me which I truly cherish.

I have been processing everything that happened on our retreat and it all boils down to blossoming for me. Like a flower bud, it takes time, patience, and the right elements for blossoming to occur. I believe everything we needed to blossom was there for us at the retreat and now the bud is opening to share its beautify with the world and spread the fragrance of love so it can pollinate and spread more.
It was such an honor to be in the presence of each of you beautiful ladies and watch the blossoming begin. I have taken each of you into my heart and will carry you with me. I joined Umang’s Wellness haven in Jan 2013 mainly to try out some yoga and see if it would make any difference in my life. Little did I know that it would completely transform my life. I have become an annual member now and can’t wait to go to her studio for yoga classes. When I started, I could barely do some poses. Over time, my body has become quite flexible and I can’t believe that I am able to do some advanced poses as well! It has also helped me with handling stress better. I used to feel rushed and overwhelmed all the time, trying to balance work and family life. I feel doing yoga regularly has helped me calm down and handle things better. I am so grateful to have met Umang as she is a constant source of inspiration and encourages to take one step further, whether it’s a yoga pose or something else in life. I also took part in Umang’s nutrition program earlier this year, which brought another revelation in my life. Not only was I able to reach my goal weight and fat percentage, this program also taught me a unique way to experience food. Even months after graduating from this program, I continue to follow the principles of healthy eating. Thank you Umang for bringing such a positive change in my life !!
